Getting Started
CivicPlus prides itself in being the experts in City and County Government websites and our goal is to provide you with the most highly usable website imaginable. There is some information we need to gather from you in order to create a website that is just as unique as your community.

Consulting Preparation
Training
This training provides a broad overview of our content management system (CMS). The training will give you an audio and visual walk through, provide practice work, and ends with a test. By the end of this training, an individual should have the ability to navigate the CMS, develop pages, and work within our basic modules. Please track any questions you have during or after training and the consultant will provide time to address them.

6 Levels of Digital Community Engagement
Please fill out the following survey to help us get an understanding of what your current website provides. Be prepared to discuss this survey during consulting. The consultant will help you establish and engagement goal and will provide you with a clear understanding of what we will need to do to meet that goal with this project.

Consulting Forms

The forms listed below need to be complete prior to your consulting in order to provide you with the best consulting possible.
  • Web Team Form- This form is to be filled out by your project web team. Please have an understanding of what the project goals, focus, and the teams expectations are when preparing to fill out this form. This gives your CivicPlus Project Team an understanding of the purpose of your site and lays a foundation for the information architecture that needs to be established. If you go to this form you have the option to print it and review it prior to electronic submission. All forms must be submitted electronically from this site.
  • Functionality & Design Form- This form is to be filled out by your project web team. Prior to starting this form you should research other websites that you like based on functionality and design elements. Be prepared to provide those URL's and specifics about what you like. This form also asks for details on slogans/taglines, seals/logos, and your branding. If you go to this form you have the option to print it and review it prior to electronic submission. All forms must be submitted electronically from this site. 
  • Department/Division Form- This form will be filled out by each department or division. If the department/division filled out the call logs provided at during the Project Kickoff; they need to have those available to upload electronically in this form. Each department/division should have an understanding of what services they provide, who they provide those services to, how they are currently communicating information most often, and what they would like/dislike about their current web presence.
